Launching a three-month-old drone policy after industry complaints about multiple approvals and permits, the government has proposed a series of drastically liberalized designs that pave the way for drone taxis and special lanes for the delivery of goods. The PMO recently revised the rules for unmanned aircraft (UAS rules) given the limitless potential of drones waiting to be operated. What began to apply to this parade.
The airline has sought public comment on the “Drone Rules, 2021” which is much simpler than August 5. After reviewing the comments, the latest rules are expected to be released, which will replace the more stringent UAS rules.
Following the drone attack on Jammu Airport, this change shows that while the government is taking action to combat evil drones, it is ready to allow the technology to reach its potential.
Union Flying Minister Jyotiraditya Sco said the draft 2021 drone rule would provide “the main Fillip for the drone industry … (and) mark a clear change from previous UAS rules.”
SCIENTIA said the main features of the proposed new rules are as follows: “Some approvals have been approved and the process is getting easier; the number of forms is reduced from 25 to 5; no security permit prior to registration or permit issuance; easy drone transfer and deregistration process .. There is no pilot license for the Nano Drone (weighing up to 250 grams), micro drones (weighing up to 2kg) for non-commercial use… “
Arjun Aggarwal, MD Drone Major Aeroarc, said the change “will provide encouragement to the ‘Aatmanirbhar’ drone ecosystem.” Presents the design of the new rules as “a paradigm shift from the intensive UAS rule in the March 21 document. It enables faster, paperless approval. Increased traction by foreign OEMs, one-stop-shop interface. Which is synchronized with the speed of the drone – speed, safety, security Economy and reliability. “
Scindia tweeted: “The drone is bringing the next big technological revolution to the world by reducing the costs, resources and time required for surgery. It’s up to us to surf new waves and facilitate absorption, especially among our startups.
It will also significantly reduce the cost of using drones. In addition, there will now be no restrictions on drone operations by foreign companies registered in India. The rules will limit the maximum penalty below the new one to Rs 1 Lakh (not including the penalty for violating other laws). Equilibrium Attack Rules simplify their use by ensuring “that they do not present a risk to the safety or security and property of the community”. The proposed rules will deal with drones weighing up to 500 kg instead of 300 kg previously and covering the drone taxi. And will develop the drone corridor for freight forwarding.
Drastic changes proposed include the elimination of certain agreements, including obtaining unique authorization numbers, unique prototype identification numbers, certificates of conformity, maintenance certificates, import permits, Existing receipt of drones, operator authorizations, R & D organization authorization, remote, remote pilot Drone instructor and authorization.
Safety features such as “no clearance – no take off” (NPNT), real-time tracking or geofencing will be notified in the future. Provide the six month timeframe for compliance.
Under the proposed amended rules, will display interactive aerial maps with green, yellow and red areas on the digital SKY platform. It is proposed to reduce the yellow zone from 45 km to 12 km from the airport perimeter. No aviation clearance is required up to 400 feet from the green zone and up to 200 feet. In an area between 8 km and 12 km from the airport perimeter.
Under new rules, producers can produce their unique drone identification numbers on the Sky Digital platform through the self-certification path. It will simply be the process of transferring and registering the drones.
