THE SLAY AT HOME FESTIVAL STARTS THIS WEEKEND WITH MEMBERS OF MEGADETH, INCUBUS, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, LACUNA COIL, ANIMALS LIKE LEADERS, CARCASS, PERIPHERY, + MORE

FINAL OF THE FESTIVAL SCHEDULED ON 18 + 19 JUNE

Kill at home, the first virtual music festival of its kind hosted by Frank Godla of Metal Injection, celebrates its first anniversary with the announcement of a grand finale.

The fully stacked event will air this Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19, with music starting at 3 p.m. EST on both days and panel discussions in advance.

The free virtual event will raise funds to support four major charities: Musicares, The Iggy Fund, Cancer research institute, and National Alliance on Mental Illness. Information on these four charities can be found on the Slay At Home website. here.

Following the success of the first Slay At Home festival at the start of the pandemic, it was quickly launched into a monthly series that has now collectively received millions of views and over $ 200,000 in donations to various charities throughout. the year.

Godla comments on the finale, stating, “I started Slay At Home at the start of the pandemic to create an entertainment fundraiser that would help the music industry and the charities that I am passionate about, while also providing a new experience. fun for metal fans around the world. As the world gears up for a post-quarantine comeback, with more live shows announced each week, I’ve made the decision to send Slay At Home like it started a year ago, with a show of gigantic varieties filled with many surprises, for an even greater set of causes. I invite everyone in the world to safely come together and watch as we celebrate music in its purest form. It’s an honor to work on this with so many amazing players who have gone above and beyond to create a truly unique experience.

Unlike previous iterations of the Slay At Home festival, this one will also include in-depth pre-show panel discussions as part of the side program. Each chat promises to be an engaging experience for viewers with special guests they’ll want to see early on, including Matt Heafy (Trivium), Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) and Finn McKenty (YouTuber).
