MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – The Tarlac Provincial Police Office Health Unit launched its campaign on Wednesday to administer COVID-19 reminders to police officers and their dependents in the province.
Colonel Erwin Sanque, acting director of Tarlac police, said at least 90 uniformed personnel and 48 relatives of police officers serving in the province participated in the launch of the activity.
The booster shots were administered in the indoor courtyard inside the provincial police headquarters in Tarlac City.
Sanque said the campaign aims to further boost the immunity of fully vaccinated police officers in the province against the viral disease.
“With booster injections, death and the need for hospitalization will be significantly minimized,” he added.
Local governments in Tarlac have begun administering COVID-19 reminders to residents, including police officers assigned to their respective localities.
